Helps unemployed individuals create their own jobs by starting a business. Participants continue receiving EI benefits during the claim period and then receive a provincially established weekly allowance; program provides business training, coaching and ongoing technical support.
Who qualifies
Unemployed New Brunswick residents legally entitled to work in Canada, EI‑eligible, ready to start a new for‑profit business, able to provide at least 5% of start‑up costs and own at least 51% of the business.
